The AAFES at Building 1760 Kuntz Ave. in Hickam AFB is selling the cheapest midgrade unleaded gasoline near zip code 96860 this week, according to GasBuddy.com.

The station, which is 1.23 miles from zip code 96860, has midgrade unleaded priced at $2.35 per gallon for the week of May 25-31.

The average price of unleaded gas in the state is $2.959 per gallon. The previous week, the state average was $3.065 per gallon. The average has decreased since last month, when it was $3.196 per gallon – a 23.7 cent difference.

Last year, the average price for a gallon of gas was $3.77.
