Graduates earn 292 degrees, certificates from Hawaii Medical College

About 61 percent of the 292 degrees and certificates handed out by Hawaii Medical College in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Honolulu conferred 159 certificates and 19 associate's degrees in medical/clinical assistant programs.

Other popular programs include medical insurance coding specialist/coder, pharmacy technician/assistant and medical insurance coding specialist/coder.

The college enrolled 691 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
