70 percent of applicants to Pacific Rim Christian University were admitted for fall 2018

At Pacific Rim Christian University, 50 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Honolulu enrolled 152 students in fall 2018, including 126 in undergraduate and 26 in graduate programs, data shows. 4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

73 percent of undergraduates are residents of Hawaii, and 14 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander (23 percent) and two or more races (21 percent).

The school admitted 70 percent of the 40 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 79 percent enrolled.
