98 percent of applicants to Chaminade University of Honolulu were admitted for fall 2018

At Chaminade University of Honolulu, 67 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 70 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Honolulu enrolled 2,150 students in fall 2018, including 1,646 in undergraduate and 504 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

47 percent of undergraduates are residents of Hawaii, and 52 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Asian (30 percent) and Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander (22 percent).

The school admitted 98 percent of the 908 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 33 percent enrolled.
