Of the 4,372 people living in Heeia in 2019, 51.3 percent (2,241) were women and 48.7 percent (2,131) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Honolulu Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,280-to-1,225. In the 65 and over age range, there were 683 females and 575 males.
