Have you noticed any new changes along Ala lima St in Salt Lake?

This month, the Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) installed an interim pedestrian refuge island at the intersection of Ala lima Street and Ala Napua'a Place in Salt Lake - - a busy crossing location for bus riders.

The interim pedestrian crossing improvement uses low-cost modular materials to create a median space that limits pedestrian exposure, allows pedestrians to focus on crossing one direction of traffic at a time, and slows vehicles traveling through the intersection.
