Get ready to immerse yourself in a fun, culture and excitement-filled weekend at the Honolulu Festival, Friday, March 10 through Sunday, March 12! 

Experience the vibrant cultures of Hawai‘i and the Pacific Rim region through lively music, dance performances, and interactive activities that the whole ‘ohana can enjoy. 

- Friendship Gala, March 10Enjoy delicious dishes and mingle with participants from the Pacific Rim Region at the Honolulu Festival’s Friendship Gala. Tickets are $100 and proceeds benefit the Honolulu Festival Foundation’s enriching educational programs and opportunities to increase global understanding for local school children.

- Honolulu Festival Activities, March 11 and 12See live cultural performances at Ala Moana Center, Waikiki Beach Walk and Hawai‘i Convention Center throughout the weekend. Live performances feature song, dance and art from Hawai‘i, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines and more!

But that’s not all! Be sure to check out FREE activities at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.

View internationally acclaimed films at the Japanese Film Fest on the 3rd Floor.

Then head over to the 1st floor to see cultural exhibits and learn about the fascinating Japanese alcohols sake, shochu and at the first Sake and Food Fest. Free samples for those 21 and over.

If you’re a foodie, shop at the Kyushu Food Fair, which will showcase popular products from this region of Japan.

Finish the weekend on Sunday, March 12, with the Grand Parade along Kalākaua Avenue, featuring colorful floats, marching bands, and performers from around the world. The Grand Parade starts at 4:30 PM.

After the parade, save your spot at Waikiki Beach for the Nagaoka Fireworks Show starting at 8:30 PM.
