Former Waiʻanae High School player and current Saint Martin's Saints outfielder, Shay Lopes, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number seven seed against the second seeded Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
