Of the 16,442 people living in Wahiawa in 2020, 48.9 percent (8,042) were women and 51.1 percent (8,400) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Honolulu Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 161. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,935 females and 1,482 males.
