Honolulu Board of Water Supply - Repair Update

Sept. 1, 12:15 a.m.: Board of Water Supply crews have completed repairs to the 24-inch main break on Hawaii Kai Dr. at Kamilonui Pl. and restored water service to all impacted customers.

Mahalo to area customers for their patience during repairs.

Aug. 31, 7:10 p.m.: Board of Water Supply crews are still making repairs to a 24-inch main break on Hawaii Kai Dr. at Kamilonui Pl. 

The break has impacted water service to the agriculture lots in the back of the valley. Residential customers in the area have water service, but some may experience lower than normal pressure. 

This will be updated.

Aug 30, 7:45 p.m.: Repairs continue on a 24-inch main break on Hawaii Kai Dr. at Kamilonui Pl. 

Crews have set up a bypass and restored water service to affected customers. Please note that some residents may experience lower than normal pressure while the main is being repaired.

Aug 30, 1:00 p.m.: The main break has impacted water service for approximately 21 residential customers. 

A water wagon is positioned inside the agriculture lots on Kamilonui Pl. Please bring your own containers to fill.

Aug 30, 11:00 a.m.: The Board of Water Supply is making repairs to a 24-inch main break on Hawaii Kai Dr. at Kamilonui Pl.

While all customers currently have water service, the agriculture lots in the back of the valley may be impacted later today. A water wagon has already been positioned on the corner of Hawaii Kai Dr. and Kamilonui Pl. for those who don’t have water service. Please bring your own containers to fill.

Aug. 30, 9:30 a.m.: Board of Water Supply crews are repairing a 24-inch main break on Hawaii Kai Dr. at Kamilonui Pl. 

All customers currently have water service. Motorists in the area are advised to use extreme caution.
