Thank you to our fellow first responder agencies and our transportation and community partners in coordinating the Oct. 22 Hitachi Rail Honolulu Full-Scale Exercise as Honolulu Rail Transit continues testing its system. The HFD’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Team had a 360-degree view of all the fire units and other participants.
The HFD has been preparing for rail emergencies since 2020. We train hard to be ready for any emergency, whether it’s a fire drill or a simulated derailment.
