HONOLULU – The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Design and Construction (DDC) is advising the public of upcoming storm drain maintenance work requiring single-lane traffic closures and parking disruptions along sections of Pensacola St. near Kapi‘olani Blvd.

Work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 26 and take place Monday thru Friday, between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This internal storm drain maintenance work is anticipated to be completed by the end of July 2023.

Pensacola St. and Kapi‘olani Blvd. will remain open to the public during this work. Drivers are asked to observe the dates and times of “No Parking” notices as vehicles parked on posted streets will be towed at the owner’s expense. Please be aware of all traffic control devices, posted signs, special duty police officers and allow extra travel time while traveling through the area.

We appreciate the public’s patience while the City & County of Honolulu continues to improve our local infrastructure.
